Marijuana Task Force

WHO WE ARE

In 2013, coalition members unanimously agreed that the focus of this committee would be to share education about the risks of youth marijuana use. This committee is dedicated to providing science-based information to you and your community to equip individuals and families with the knowledge they need.
WHAT WE DO

The mission and purpose of the Marijuana Task Force is to educate Pasco County on evidence-based programs and smart policies that decrease youth marijuana use and its consequences. Priority issues identified by the coalition include the following:

  • Impaired Driving
  • Marketing & Advertising to Youth
  • Workplace Policies

MJTF provides information in multiple formats from hosting town hall forums to sharing educational materials at community events.
