AAA Tow-to-Go - A FREE Service!

Since its inception in 1998, Tow to Go has safely removed more than 24,000 impaired
drivers from the roads. The service is designed to be used as a last resort. It is offered based on availability of AAA Service Technicians and tow trucks during times of high call volume.

Important Tow To Go Guidelines

  • Tow trucks can take up to two people home; if there are more people in your party—you will need to make other arrangements to get home safely
  • You can’t make an appointment to use the Tow to Go service, it is designed to be used as a last resort so have a designated driver before you have your first drink
  • It may be necessary, in certain situations, for AAA to contact a cab company or local law enforcement to assist with getting the intoxicated individual a safe ride
Friends and Family Members

Don't be shy. Call a friend or family member to drive you home.

Goals of SafeRidePasco

Our goal with #SafeRidePasco is to ultimately decrease impaired driving. Here are a few ways you can help us reach our goal:

  • Always plan a back-up option, in case your ride plans need to change

  • Always plan a safe ride home BEFORE you leave your home

  1. If you plan to go out and enjoy a safe night without drugs- GREAT! Your work here is done!
  2. If drinking is involved in your plans, designate a sober driver. Remember, pills and other drugs impair one’s driving ability. Make sure your designated driver is sober of all drugs.
  3. Always plan a back-up option, in case yourride plans need to change
  • Discourage friends, families and strangers from driving home impaired

  • According to our data, most people in Pasco who received a DUI were not discouraged to drive. Help us change that! If you see someone who looks impaired, encourage them not to drive; help them make other arrangements to safely get to where they are going.

  • Help make our roads safer. If you see an impaired driver on the road, don’t hesitate to call the Pasco Sheriff’s Office at (727) 847-5878

  • Help us increase the discussion!

  • We want to increase and enhance the dialogue around impaired driving in Pasco. Help amplify our efforts by sharing our safe ride options and Facebook posts.

  • If you are a venue that serves alcohol, request our coasters and posters! Throughout the year, we plan to promote AAA Tow-to-Go by providing venues with coasters and posters! Here are a few examples:
